Gearshift Cable Adjustment-Vehicle With MT285





1. Raise and support the vehicle.





2. Shift the gearshift mechanism to the neutral position (gearshift cable and selector cables removed for clarity).





3. Release the jacking tabs from the gearshift cable and the selector cable.
4. Lower the vehicle.





5. Detach the gearshift lever boot from the floor console.





6. Using the special tool, lock the gearshift lever.
7. Raise and support the vehicle.





8. Adjust the gearshift cable (colored white) and the selector cable (colored black) by pressing the locking tabs.
9. Lower the vehicle.





10. Remove the special tool.





11. Attach the gearshift lever boot to the floor console.
