Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve electrical connector (air cleaner outlet tube removed for clarity).







2. Remove the IAC valve.







3. Remove and discard the IAC valve gasket.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.


NOTE: Install a new IAC valve gasket.
