Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Remove throttle body snow shield.
^ Remove the retaining screw.
^ Release the emission tube.
^ Remove the snow shield.







3. Remove the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve.
1 Disconnect the IAC electrical connector.
2 Remove the two IAC retaining screws.
3 Remove the IAC valve.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Install a new IAC valve gasket.
