Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair

SECONDARY AIR INJECTION (AIR) PUMP

Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.







2. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump outlet hose and inlet hose retaining clip from the AIR tube.







3. Disconnect the AIR pump electrical connector.







4. Remove the two bolts.







5. Detach the A/C tube from the retaining clip and remove the AIR pump.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
