Transaxle Support Insulator - Anti-Roll, 3.5L













Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking and Lifting Service and Repair.

2. Remove the 2 Y-pipe nuts and disconnect the exhaust hanger.
- Discard the Y-pipe nuts and the exhaust seal.





3. Remove the Y-pipe assembly.
- Discard the 4 Y-pipe nuts and the exhaust seals.





4. Remove the 2 through bolts and remove the roll restrictor.





Installation

1. Clean the roll restrictor bolts using a wire brush and apply new threadlock to the threads.

2. Position the roll restrictor in place and install the bolts.
- Tighten to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft).





3. Install new exhaust seals, position the Y-pipe assembly in place and install 4 new Y-pipe nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).





4. Install a new exhaust seal, position the Y-pipe in the exhaust hanger and install 2 new Y-pipe nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
