Fig. 15 Piston & connecting rod assembly:

Assemble piston to rod so the mark on the piston is facing toward front of engine, Fig. 15, and the face of the connecting rod with the cylinder number mark is facing toward the starter side of the engine.
Pistons are available in oversizes of .020 and .030 inch.
