Heater Core: Service and Repair

Heater Assembly Component View:

NOTE: The heater core is removed from inside the passenger compartment.


REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
- Coolant from the radiator.
- Inlet and outlet hoses.
^ Plug or cap the hoses to prevent spillage.
- Rear Cover (158) and screws (14)
- Two brackets (155) on the ends of the heater core.
- Heater Core (154).

INSTALL OR CONNECT
- Heater Core (154).
- Two brackets (155) onto the ends of the heater core.
- Rear Cover (158) and screws (14)
^ Tighten screws to 3 Nm (27 in lb).
- Inlet and outlet hoses.
- Coolant to the radiator.
