CLUTCH LEVER
Removal
1. Support the clutch pedal upward against the bumper stop to release the pawl from the detent.
2. Disconnect clutch pedal cable at lever.
3. Disconnect clutch fork cable at lever.
. Loosen outboard ball stud nut and slide stud out of frame bracket slot.
5. Move lever outboard and as required to clear inboard ball stud, then lift out to remove from vehicle.
Inspection
The clutch lever has a nylon ball stud seat on the outer end only and should be inspected for wear or damage. Check inner ball stud at engine. Replace parts as necessary based on wear or damage. Lubricate ball studs and seats with grease before assembly.
