Air Valve Rod Adjustment

Fig. 11 Air valve rod adjustment:

1. Rotate gauge scale until pointer is opposite zero.
2. With air valve completely closed, place magnet on top of air valve and rotate bubble until centered.
3. Rotate scale so that specified degree for adjustment is opposite pointer.
4. Seat vacuum diaphragm using an external vacuum source.
5. Rotate air valve toward the open position by applying light pressure to the air valve shaft, Fig 11.
6. To adjust, bend air valve rod until bubble is centered.
