Inspection


1. Inspect choke chamber for cracks or damage, shaft holes for excessive wear and choke valve and vacuum piston for smoothness of operation.
2. Check float chamber body for carbon deposits and damage to joint faces and threaded mounting holes.
3. Check power valve for leaks and power valve rod for smoothness of operation.
4. Inspect float needle valve for sticking, dirt or corrosion.
5. Inspect float for holes and excessive pin hole wear.
6. Inspect fuel pipe nipple strainer for dirt, corrosion or damage.
7. Inspect accelerator pump plunger and boot for damage and distortion. Check for smoothness of operation in bore.
8. Inspect throttle chamber for clogged ports, excessive shaft hole wear and damage to threaded portions of chamber.
9. Inspect mixture adjusting screw for damage to seat surface or threads.
10. Inspect solenoids for loose or damaged harness connectors or attaching parts.
