MODELS: 1985-1986C/K AND 1987-1988 R/V


Air leaks through the front and rear door handles may occur on some of the models stated above. A new seal has been added to the door handle escutcheon to prevent this air intrusion. To repair this condition, remove the existing door handle escutcheon and install the new escutcheon P/N 15606435 left and 15606436 right.

The new escutcheons were incorporated into production beginning with the following VIN breakpoints:
GMC: JF521861
GMC: JJ509083
