1985---87
Late production 1985 and all 1986---87 models with V6-262 engines are equipped with a one-piece oil pan gasket that replaces the four-piece gasket previously used. The one-piece gasket (P/N14081222) can be installed on all V6-262 engines and should be used during installation whenever the oil pan is removed.
Series 10---30/1500---3500
1. Disconnect battery ground cable and drain oil pan.
2. Raise and support vehicle, then remove exhaust crossover pipe.
3. On vehicles equipped with automatic transmission, remove converter housing under pan.
4. If equipped with V6 engine, remove strut rods at flywheel cover, then remove starter.
5. On K and V models with automatic transmission, remove strut rods at motor mounts.
6. Remove oil pan attaching bolts, then the oil pan.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
