Lockout Pin Clearance
With choke and throttle valves fully closed, measure clearance between lockout pin and lockout lever. Maximum clearance should not exceed .015 inch. To adjust, bend lockout pin, Fig. 16.
Opening Clearance
Push downward on fast idle cam tail to open choke valve, then push lock-out lever counterclockwise so upper end of lever contacts the round pin in fast idle cam. Measure clearance between lockout pin and lockout lever toe. Clearance should be .015 inch. To obtain power clearance, file metal from end of lockout pin, Fig. 16.
