Fig. 13, Shift linkage adjustment. S & T Series:

1. Place steering column shift lever in neutral gate notch, Fig. 13.
2. Place transmission lever (A) in neutral detent.
3. Install clamp spring washer and screw on transmission control lever (B) and control rod.
4. Hold clamp flush against transmission control lever (B), then finger tighten clamping screw against rod. No force should be exerted in either direction on the rod or transmission control lever (B) while tightening the clamping screw.
5. Tighten control rod attaching screw.
