SUBJECT: TRIM PANEL CLOTH SEPARATION

MODELS: 1987 M VANS (LT ONLY) WITH YC7 OPTION
Some 1987 LT model M vans with the YC7 trim option may experience cloth separation from interior trim panels.

The panels involved are those located rearward of the front doors (or "B" pillars) on both sides of the vehicle including the rear doors. The separation usually occurs at the upper edges of the panels adjacent to the windows and is due to insufficient bonding and cloth overlap. Labor operation T7435 should be used when any of the following parts require replacement on 1987 LT model M vans with the YC7 option.
