FIGURE 1:

To reduce door glass water and air leaks on the 1988 C/K model, a new door glass and run channel seal has been developed. The upper rear corner of the new glass is square shaped, while the old style is more rounded (Figure No. 1). When installing a new door glass, a new run channel seal and window retainer ("blow-out-chip") must be installed. A new door glass with the old run channel seal, or viceversa, will not work.
