A new design filter for the THM 700 R4 is available in package part number 8657926 and will retrofit all models.

The package includes the new design filter, new design filter seal, and pan gasket. The new design seal for the filter is AVAILABLE SEPARATELY.

It is recommended to install the new design filter seal on all THM 700-R4 and THM 200-R4 transmission filters. The new design seal is a compression type seal and will fit snug in its bore. This works much better than the 0-ring type seal used previously.
