Control Valve Body-Replace

1. Raise and support vehicle.

2. Remove bottom pan and strainer.

3. Remove bolt (47), manual detent spring and roller (48).

4. Remove bolts (51).

5. Remove governor pipes (50) up from case and rotate them away from holes.

6. Remove governor oil screen (52) from the inboard hole.

7. Remove valve body to spacer plate gasket (56), spacer plate (57) and spacer plate to case gasket 58).






8. Remove seven check balls.

9. Reverse procedure to install using new gaskets. Torque bolts to 8 ft lbs.
