Four Wheel Drive (4WD)

FRONT AXLE SHAFT

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove skid plate.
2. Remove stabilizer bar clamp, then disconnect stabilizer link from lower control arm.
3. Remove inner tie rod end from steering relay rod.
4. While holding rotor in place, remove hub nut and washer.
5. Remove drive axle flange bolts.
6. Remove drive axle. Use suitable puller or brass drift to push outboard axle end out of hub assembly.
7. Reverse procedure to install, torquing bolts/nut to specifications.
