Effective September 1, 1990, the HYDRA-MATIC 4L8O-E/4L80-E HD has a toll-tree 800 number to enhance our opportunity to successfully launch this transmission and to monitor its quality:

The phone will be manned from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. The remainder of the time, an answering machine will take the information. This number is for DEALERS ONLY; your zone dealer code number will be required at the time of the call. At the time of your call, we ask that the dealership have a complete repair order on hand, as well as the following information:

- Dealer code
- Dealer name

- Contact person

- Phone number

- Labor operation, a description of the condition, and how it was corrected
