Some owners may experience a protrusion of the roof side drip molding seal. This results in poor appearance and/or wind noise on vehicles. Seal protrusion may occur along the top of the door if the seal does not fold properly between the front door and the "A" pillar. Wind noise may occur if a void exists between the seal and door.
Poor appearance may be corrected and wind noise may be reduced by installing a redesigned roof side drip molding seal (P/N 15980511).
SERVICE PROCEDURE:
1. Remove the existing roof drip molding seal by pulling it from the roof pinchweld.
2. Locate the start of the drip molding seal approximately 15.0 mm (0.6 in.) forward of the "B" post (to avoid the corner weld and sealer) and install the new roof drip seal (P/N 15980511).
