Thermostat: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove engine cover, air cleaner and air inlet duct, as necessary.
3. Drain cooling system until radiator coolant level is below thermostat.
4. Remove radiator hose at coolant outlet.
5. Remove thermostat housing mounting bolts and ground wire, if applicable.
6. Remove thermostat housing, thermostat and gasket.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
