Troubleshooting Hints

Before checking Daytime Running Lamps (Canadian only) system, do the following:

1. Place Park Brake in OFF position and Ignition Switch in RUN.

2. Verify condition of DRL and GAUGES fuses. If blown, locate and repair source of overload. Then replace fuse.

3. Place Light Switch in ON and Headlamp Dimmer Switch in HIGH BEAM headlamp(s) are inoperative, refer to HIGH BEAM(S) DO NOT OPERATE (CANADIAN VEHICLES).

If HIGH BEAM headlamps operate, place Light Switch in OFF and use the following diagnostic procedure.
