MODELS: 1991-1992 C/K AND P3 WITH A FIVE-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION (RPO MT8)


The NV4500, five-speed manual transmission (RPO MT8) requires the use of a special synthetic lubricant (P/N 12345871). This special lubricant is required to reduce transmission internal operating temperatures and is installed in all NV4500 transmissions in production. The synthetic lubricant does not require periodic changing. If it is necessary to drain and refill or add fluid to the transmission, do NOT substitute any other lubricant. Installation of other lubricants may result in internal transmission damage.
