CONDITION/CAUSE
Some black hub caps. used on 1989-93 T1 trucks. may become distorted by reflected sunlight focused on the center cap by the wheel trim ring.
CORRECTION
If this condition occurs, it can be corrected by using a redesigned trim ring (P/N 15693529), which has a convex surface to redirect reflected sunlight away from the center cap. The older design trim ring has a concave surface which tends to focus sunlight onto the center cap.
