Turbocharger: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery cables, then drain coolant from radiator.
2. Remove engine and turbocharger air intake ducts.
3. Remove battery, battery tray and vacuum tank.
4. Remove turbocharger oil feed line, then disconnect electrical connector at solenoid.
5. Loosen turbocharger coolant return line clamp nut, then disconnect coolant return line assembly from turbocharger.
6. Raise and support vehicle, then remove right side tire and wheel assembly.
7. Remove righthand wheelhouse panel, then the turbocharger outlet pipe.
8. Remove oil return pipe and gasket from turbocharger.
9. Remove turbocharger mounting nuts, bolt, gaskets and coolant feed line assembly from turbocharger.
10. Remove turbocharger.
11. Reverse procedure to install.
