Steering Wheel: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering wheel trim pad retaining screws from underside of steering wheel spokes, then lift off trim pad and remove wiring connector, if equipped.
3. Remove snap ring and nut from steering shaft.
4. Remove steering wheel using steering wheel puller tool No. J-1859-03 or equivalent.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
