Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative (-) battery cable.

2. Raise vehicle and suitably support.

^ Place drain pan under transmission oil pan.

^ Refer to "Changing Fluid and Filter".

3. Electrical connections from pressure switch assembly.

4. Pressure switch assembly bolt (70 in Fig. 1 and 2) and pressure switch assembly (69 in Fig. 1).

Install or Connect

1. Pressure switch assembly bolt (70 in Fig. 1 and 2) and pressure switch assembly (69 in Fig. 1).

Tighten

^ Bolt (70 in Fig.1 and 2) to 11 N.m (8 ft. lbs.)

2. Wiring harness connections to pressure switch assembly.

3. New filter with seal. Pan gasket, pan bolts and new fluid.

^ Refer to "Changing Fluid and Filter."

4. Lower vehicle.

5. Negative (-) battery cable.

Adjust

^ Fluid level, Refer to "Transmission Fluid Checking Procedure".

^ DEXRON� IIE Automatic Transmission Fluid. Inspect for leaks.
