Fuel Delivery and Air Induction: Service and Repair

Constant bleeding in the pressure regulator relieves fuel system pressure after the engine is turned off. The fuel system is then made safe for service work by merely disconnecting the battery ground cable and loosening the fuel tank filler cap.
