Anti-Lock Pressure Valve

The APV valve is not serviceable. It should be replaced when the DTC code charts show that it's the cause of a malfunction.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect brake pipe fittings from APV.
3. Remove APV to bracket attaching bolts.
4. Disconnect APV valve electrical connector, Fig. 85.
5. Remove APV valve from vehicle.
6. Reverse procedure to install, torque APV to bracket attaching bolts to 21 ft. lbs.
