When replacing the EBCM be sure to use the correct replacement EBCM for the system that is being serviced. The ZPRWAL EBCM uses a gray electrical connector. Failure to use the correct EBCM will result in system malfunction.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect EBCM electrical connectors, Fig. 85.
3. Remove EBCM by pulling towards front of vehicle.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
