Owners Letter
Dear GMC Truck Owner:This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
General Motors has determined that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in CERTAIN 1994 C/K Sierra models, C/K Suburbans, C/K Yukons, C35OOHD models, G Rally Vans, G Vandura Vans and G Magnavans. Some of these vehicles were built with a brake pedal pushrod retainer missing, mispositioned or not properly seated. This condition could cause the stop lamp switch and the brake booster pushrod to disconnect from the brake pedal, resulting in a loss of brake operation and a vehicle crash could occur without prior warning.
