Transmission Failure Due To Loss Of Lubrication Oil Flow - Rear Case Bushing Moving

1994 C/K TRUCKS AND G VANS WITH 4L80-E/4L80-EHD TRANSMISSIONS
General Motors has determined that CERTAIN 1994 C/K trucks and G Vans listed in this campaign. equipped with the 4L8O-E/4L8O-EHD, may experience a transmission failure within a very limited number of miles due to a lack of lubrication from the movement of the rear case bushing.
The rear case bushing bore was machined oversized which allows the rear case bushing to move causing loss of lubrication to the rear Section of the transmission.
THE TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING THE TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE IN THE APPROPRIATE SERVICE MANUAL.
