NEW REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY MODULE

MODELS:
1995 CHEVROLET AND GMC TRUCK G VANS WITH KEYLESS ENTRY (Ax3) AND HINGED SIDE CARGO DOOR (E24)

The delay feature of the remote keyless entry (RPO AX3) is no longer available on 1995 model G vans. The delay feature did not have an audible sound when the power door lock or transmitter door lock button was depressed. In addition, the doors would not lock until the last door was closed. RPO AX3 will only be available on 1995 G vans with (RPO E24) hinged side cargo doors. When the lock button is depressed on the transmitter or the power door lock button, there is an immediate audio feedback (clunk) to indicate the circuit has been opened or closed.

The remote keyless entry is no longer available on 1995 G vans with (RPO YA2) sliding side cargo door. Customers who have become familiar with the features of the prior lock system on G vans should be informed of the different function. Both modules will be serviced through GMSPO.
