Troubleshooting Hints

Before checking Daytime Running Lights system, do the following:
1. Place Park Brake in OFF position and Ignition Switch in RUN.
2. Verify condition of DRL and GAGES fuses. If blown, locate and repair source of overload. Then replace fuse.
3. Place Headlight Switch in ON and Headlight Dimmer Switch in HIGH BEAM. If HIGH BEAM headlamp(s) are inoperative, refer to HIGH BEAM HEADLAMP(S) DO NOT OPERATE diagnostic procedure.

If HIGH BEAM headlamps operate, place Headlight Switch in OFF and use the following diagnostic procedure.
