Service Procedure

INSPECTION

1. Inspect one of the fan blade rivet heads for stamping J94 or K94 (rivet heads will all be stamped with the same number).

^ If either J94 or K94 is on the rivet head, the fan must be replaced. Proceed to -Replacement-procedure.

^ If the rivet head does not show J94 or K94, install Campaign Identification Label. No further action is required.

REPLACEMENT

1. Remove upper fan shroud.

2. Remove fan and clutch nuts from pulley

3. Remove fan and clutch assembly.

4. Remove fan blade from fan clutch assembly.

5. Install new fan blade to fan clutch assembly and torque fan nuts to 38 Nm (24 lb. ft.).

6. Install fan and clutch assembly to pulley.

7. Install fan and clutch assembly nuts and torque to 24 Nm (17 lb. ft.).

8. Install upper fan shroud.

9. Install Campaign Identification Label.
