Models:
1995 Chevrolet and GMC Truck S/T Models
with 4.3L V6 Engine (VIN W - RPO L35) with OBDII and RPO NP1

A new crankshaft position sensor assembly was introduced into production on March 13, 1995.

Vehicles brought in for service, which have the pigtail lead crankshaft position sensor (produced from SOP through March 12, 1995), are to be serviced under Campaign 95-C-31. Reference Campaign Bulletin 95-C-31 for the correct procedure and part number for any vehicle brought in with a pigtail lead crankshaft position sensor.

SERVICE INFORMATION




For vehicles which have been campaigned, and vehicles produced after March 13, 1995; service parts are now available (see Figure 1).

Generally, only the sensor will be required for service. The replacement 0-ring and jumper harness are available for separate service.
