Four Wheel Drive Selector Switch: Service and Repair

Selector Switch:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Front floor console.
3. Switch harness at the indicator assembly.
4. Switch to bracket screws.
5. Switch from the bracket.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Switch to the bracket.
- Make sure the switch contact slide is aligned with the actuating pin on the lever.
2. Switch to bracket screws. Tighten switch to bracket screws to 4 Nm (35 lbs. in.).
3. Switch harness to the indicator assembly.
4. Front floor console.
5. Negative battery cable.
