With Daytime Running Lamps
Voltage to the Headlight Switch is provided at all times through a Fusible Link. The Headlight Switch is protected by an internal Self-Resetting Circuit Breaker. If the Headlight circuit draws too much current, the circuit breaker opens, stopping the current flow to the lights. With the Headlight Switch in HEAD, current flows through the Headlight Dimmer Switch to the Headlights. The Headlight Dimmer Switch switches current between the Low Beams and High Beams. With the High Beams on, current also flows to the High Beam Indicator in the instrument cluster.
