WITH 4L60-E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) (Service Engine Soon) will be "ON" if an emission malfunction exists. If the malfunction clears, the lamp will go "OFF" and the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will be stored in the Vehicle Control Module (VCM). Any DTCs stored will be cleared if no problem recurs within 50 engine starts.
