Ignition Lock Cylinder, Lower Shroud - With Key

Removal
1. Set front wheels in straight ahead position.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Disconnect transmission control cable from column shift lever.
4. Remove steering column trim panels.
5. Remove steering wheel.
6. Remove steering column floor/toe plate.
7. Remove support bracket nuts, then lower the steering column.
8. Disconnect steering column electrical connectors.
9. Remove steering column assembly by rotating column so shift lever clears dash panel opening.
Installation
1. Lower end of steering column through dash panel opening, then connect steering column electrical connectors.
2. Raise steering column into place.
3. Connect shift indicator cable to shift bowl.
4. Install two upper column and two lower column nuts. Tighten to specifications.
5. Install steering column floor/toe plate bolts/screws. Tighten to specifications.
6. Install transmission control cable.
7. Install steering wheel.
8. Connect battery ground cable.
