Troubleshooting Hints

Before checking the Daytime Running Lights system, do the following:
1. Place Park Brake in OFF position and Ignition Switch in RUN.
2. Verify condition of DRL, GAGES, CGR LTR/DM, HORN/TL LPS and ECMB Fuse(s). If blown, locate and repair source of overload. Replace Fuse(s).
3. Place Headlight Switch in ON and Headlight Dimmer Switch in HIGH BEAM. If HIGH BEAM headlamp(s) are inoperative, refer to High Beam Headlight(s) Do Not Operate Diagnostic Chart. High Beam Headlight(S) Do Not Operate

If HIGH BEAM headlights operate, place Headlight Switch in OFF and use the Diagnostic Chart. Diagnostic Chart
