IDENTIFICATION NAMEPLATE
All automatic transmission assemblies have a metal identification nameplate attached to the transmission case exterior or a stamped identification number on the transmission oil pan rail. This is shown in the accompanying image. The identification information will help in servicing the unit and ordering necessary parts.
