Air Cleaner Housing: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
To route cool air from the exterior of the engine compartment to the intake manifold, an air intake system is used. A filter is incorporated into the system to keep dirt from entering the engine. An intake air system is for good driveability under varying climatic conditions.
