CONDITION

Some owners may comment on excessive rear suspension travel or on a soft ride. Additionally, some customers may also comment that the rear suspension bottoms when hauling cargo or when trailering.

CAUSE

The valving of the front and rear shocks may not dampen suspension movement adequately.

CORRECTION

The front and rear shocks have been redesigned to optimize the ride quality and to eliminate concerns relating to excessive rear suspension travel. Replace the front and rear shock absorbers with the redesigned parts given below. Follow the replacement procedure given in Section 30 and 3D of the 1995 C/K Service Manual.
