Unlocking the Theft Lock Feature After A Power Loss.

The following procedure explains how to unlock the Theft Lock system after a power loss. Read through all the steps before starting this procedure.

^ If more than 15 seconds between elapse between any steps, the radio automaticaly reverts to time and the procedure must be started over from step 4.

1. Ensure LOC appears when the ignition is turned to the ON position.
2. Press MIN and 000 will appear on the display.
3. Press MIN again in order to ensure the last 2 digits agree with the code.
4. Press HR in order to ensure the first 1 or 2 digits agree with the code.
5. Press AM-FM after the secret code that was written down has been confirmed. The display will show SEC indicating the radio is now operable and secure.

If the wrong code was entered 8 times, INOP will appear on the display. Turn the ignition to the ON position and wait an hour before trying again. The customer will have 3 more chances to enter the correct code before INOP appears.
