Component Tests and General Diagnostics

1. CHECK condition of PWR ACCY Circuit Breaker. If the Circuit Breaker is open, LOCATE and REPAIR cause of overload and RESET Circuit Breaker.
2. CHECK that Grounds G200 (Upfitter Provisions only), G201, and G402 are clean and tight.

CHECK condition of Remote Control Door Lock transmitter battery. REPLACE as required.
6. Refer to Interior Lights for operation of the Interior Lighting System from the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver. Lighting and Horns

9. If both the Side and Rear Door Lock Actuator Motors are inoperative (Base only, not Upfitter Provisions), then LOCATE and REPAIR the open in the GRY (295) wire between Splice S244 and Splice S315.
^ CHECK for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a Continuity/Voltage check with a system disconnected. These Circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a Voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
^ CHECK for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other system (Refer to "General Troubleshooting Procedures,"). Diagnostic Aids
