Component Tests and General Diagnostics
1. CHECK condition of PWR WDO Circuit Breaker. If circuit breaker is open, LOCATE and REPAIR cause of overload and RESET Circuit Breaker.2. CHECK for mechanical failure or binding of power windows.
3. CHECK condition of local circuit breakers in the RF Door Power Window Regulator Motor or the LF Door Power Window Regulator Motor. The local circuit breakers will reset automatically after cooling following an overload condition.
4. If Right Front Power Window Regulator operates from Right Front Door Power Side Window Switch, but does not operate from Left Front Door Side Window Switch, replace LF Door Power Side Window Switch.
^ CHECK for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove GOOD in a Continuity/Voltage check with a system disconnected. These Circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a Voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
^ CHECK for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (Refer to "General Troubleshooting Procedures,"). Diagnostic Aids
