Troubleshooting Hints
1. CHECK condition of RADIO - B Fuse 19. If Fuse is open, LOCATE and REPAIR cause of overload and REPLACE fuse.2. CHECK that Ground G201 is clean and tight.
3. If the Power Antenna Motor continues to operate after the antenna is fully extended or fully retracted, then REPLACE the Power Antenna Assembly.
4. If the Power Antenna only moves partway up or partway down, check antenna mast for bends, dirt, or crimping.
5. Refer to Radio/Audio Systems for diagnosis of reception problems which may be related to the antenna. Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc
^ CHECK for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove GOOD in a Continuity/Voltage check with a system disconnected. These Circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a Voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
^ CHECK for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (Refer to "General Troubleshooting Procedures,"). Diagnostic Aids
