with 4.3L Engine (VINs W, X - RPOs L35, LF6) and HYDRA-MATIC 4L60-E Transmission (RPO M30)





Some technicians may experience a concern of stripped bolts and/or stripped T50 Torx socket when removing the converter housing.








Use the new tool from Kent-Moore, T50 Torx "Plus" Bit (J-41510). This tool is not a standard T5O Torx Bit and is not to be used with any air tools. (Figure 3)

Tool J-41510 will be shipped to Chevrolet, Oldsmobile and Canada dealers as an essential tool by May 1, 1996. A limited quantity of tools are available now for immediate service requirements. Call Kent-Moore Tool at 1 (800) 345-2233.
